Renting a Car

At the time of rental, a valid driver’s license must be presented at your pick-up location.

Payment of Rental Rates

Full payment of the rental rates (the amount mentioned in the email sent to you) must be made either at the outlet at pick-up or in advance when you are making the reservation.

Payment of any other charges/penalty incurred afterward, such as late fees, fuel charge, and drop-off charges, must be made at the time you return the vehicle.

Credit card payment is necessary for all reservations.
If there are any unpaid charges for the car rental, the charges will be charged to the registered credit card. If there are no unpaid charges, there will be no charge to your credit card.

Fueling

Please return the vehicle with a full tank as it will be rented with a full tank of fuel.

In the event that the vehicle is returned without being refueled due to personal reasons, the fuel charge determined by our company will be charged at the mileage conversion rate.

Extension of Rental Period

If you need to extend your rental period, you must call the outlet in advance to arrange for an extension of the rental period. Late charge payment must be made at the time when you return the vehicle.

Note there will be a penalty charge if you delay your return date without informing the car rental company.

Cancellation Period

You may cancel your reservation only if absolutely necessary. Cancellation charges may apply in addition to rental charges, as follow:

7 days before the rental day
Free of charge

6 days to rental day
Non-refundable

Cancellation During Rental

If you need to return the vehicle earlier than your return date/time for any reason, contact the return location in advance to arrange for the return.

The unused rental period will not be refunded.

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan regarding its conclusion, enforcement, implementation and interpretation.

We and the Customer hereby agree that any dispute arising from this service shall be resolved in good faith through consultation. If the dispute cannot be resolved, the Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive jurisdictional court for this agreement.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
